The Red Crescent Society has been playing an active role in various social work in society. The members of the unit have been performing very different activities since 2012. Among the programs, arranging voluntary blood donation programs, arranging blood related training, providing basic medical training, providing assistance in dealing with disasters, keeping national and international day in appropriate status, etc.


Principles

According to "Fundamental Principles of the Movement" at the 20th International Conference on International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, the original doctrine was unanimously determined. This doctrine, with the help of Red Cross and Red Crescent activists and volunteers, defines the scope of human work and scope. In addition, this doctrine gives international recognition to promote the ideal and human values ​​of this program.

Humanity
Starting with the promise of service to the wounded fighters forgetting the divide of nationalism, International Red Cross and Crescent programs are always ready to extend the help of any suffering and suffering in the international and national levels. Its aim is to give full dignity to the people as well as their lives through health and health. The main message of mutual understanding, brotherhood, co-operation and establishment of absolute peace between the world.

Equity
Red Cross and Crescent does not divide into race, caste, religion or political doctrine. Both of these institutions have a lot of importance in the effort to relieve the hardships of the people, but only those who need help are more than others.

Neutrality
Red Cross and Crescent never favor any kind of political, racist, religious or ideological conflict or divide in order to achieve public trust.

Freedom
Red Cross and Crescent are not basically under anyone. Although the government supports various humanitarian activities by respecting the laws of any country, this institution never withdraws from the main objective of the program.

Voluntary
In this program, everyone volunteers willingly, no one expects any personal or group gain.

Unity
In any country there are only a Red Cross or Red Crescent. This service is open to everyone. This organization continues its work in every region of the country.

Universality
In the international Red Cross and Red Crescent Program, everyone is entitled to equal rights, all of which perform the same duties and extend their support throughout the world.


Honorable President of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, X-Office of our society. After every three years, the President has elected the chairman of the society. The chairman can sit in this post twice. The Secretariat of the Society is located in the BDRCS National Headquarters of the big Magbazar. The Secretary-General of the Managing Board is in charge of the Secretariat. He is also secretary of the Managing Board X-Office. In addition to the absence of the Secretary-General, the managing board appointed a deputy secretary-general to manage his affairs. Secretariat made up of five departments - disaster management, health care, planning and development, central supplementary services and bookkeeping. BDRCS, built in 68 districts with a unit in every district of Bangladesh and in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi and Khulna metropolitan cities.


Our current activities

ICRC provides security and cooperation to the oppressed people of Bangladesh in organized and organized armed tortures. ICRC undertakes responsibility to inform and prepare international humanitarian law among different administration, education center, law enforcement agencies and armed forces. Apart from this, its national partner also supports the development of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society. Using the worldwide spreading tracing network, the ICRC and Bangladesh Red Crescent help the returning of missing people to their relatives and to bring them back home in Bangladesh. This organization also works to rehabilitate the country's most afflicted and lame people.
